They'll be dancing in the streets to The Magic of Motown! Tickets for the 2009 Rotary Chamber Gala Auction go on sale on Tuesday, September 8th at 9:00 am. This year's event will be on Saturday, November 14th at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. This is the event of the year and is usually a sell-out. Tickets are $100 each or a table of 10 for $1,000.00. Don't be disappointed...stop in to the Chamber office of Second Avenue and pick up your tickets next Tuesday.


Ever wanted to meet the Artists in Oceanside? This Friday evening marks the opening of a new pilot project for Qualicum Beach!!! Open every Friday evening all summer long from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm beside The Old School House!!! See who is displaying their work. It will be a new show every week and along with local island artisans there will be live music! Bring your friends and enjoy an evening in Qualicum Beach! Our local artists look forward to seeing you there.

The Qualicum Beach Museum is spearheading a project to bring a world class Paleontology Centre to Qualicum Beach. They are looking for representatives from all sections of the community that will benefit from the projected 10,000 visitors this facility will attract.
